Leigh Nimmo has her hands full.
On one hand, Leigh is a founding partner in boutique accounting firm, Nimmo Nimmo & Rennie.
On the other hand, Leigh is a defence partner, returning to her career as a Chartered Accountant after a period abroad and starting a family.
Although Leigh previously specialised in insolvency and corporate recovery, today she draws upon her life experience as a Defence Spouse to specialise in the unique taxation needs of serving defence personnel and their families.
Leigh joined forces with her father Ken Nimmo, who has sixty years of accounting experience, and father-in-law and Army Veteran Michael Rennie, with over fifty years accounting experience. Together, they established Nimmo Nimmo & Rennie to offer accounting and tax services to individuals and small to medium business.
With over 100 years of collective accounting experience, they form a formidable team – and there is nothing quite like keeping it in the family.
The choice to partner with family has provided Leigh the opportunity to return to the workforce in a way that suits the needs of her young family and provide her with flexibility often needed as a Defence spouse.
